FAQ
Are Minecraft servers free?
Yes: every server listed on CraftRank can be joined for free. You only need the game (Minecraft Java Edition on PC, or Bedrock Edition on mobile, console and Windows). Some servers sell cosmetics or ranks, which are optional.
What does "pay-to-win" mean?
A pay-to-win server sells items or advantages that make paying players stronger than the others. Servers marked "No pay-to-win" declare that what they sell gives no gameplay advantage.
How do I join a free server?
Copy the server address (IP) from its page, open Minecraft, go to Multiplayer, add a server and paste the address. On Bedrock, also enter the port shown on the page.
Can I create my own Minecraft server for free?
Yes: you can host a server on your own computer for free, or use a free host with limits (few players, server put to sleep). Our guide explains every option step by step.
