Terms of use and sale

Part 1 — Terms of use

1. Purpose

CraftRank is a directory and ranking of Minecraft servers. Listing a server and voting are free.

2. Account

The account is personal. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential. You must be at least 15, or have permission from your parent or guardian.

3. Published content

A server owner guarantees that they are authorised to represent it and hold the rights to the texts and images published. In particular, the following are forbidden: illegal, hateful, violent, sexual or misleading content, or content infringing the rights of others; servers running scams; selling advantages in breach of the Minecraft usage guidelines.

4. Votes

One vote is allowed per player and per server every 24 hours. Any manipulation (bots, mass VPNs, multiple accounts, bought or abusively rewarded votes) is forbidden and may lead to votes being cancelled and the server being hidden or deleted, without refund of running paid services.

4 bis. Reviews

Each member can post one honest review per server about their own experience. The following are forbidden: fake reviews, reviews written by the owner or in exchange for a reward, insulting, discriminatory or defamatory statements, and disclosure of personal data. Reviews breaking these rules may be hidden, with a reason given to their author.

4 ter. Staff recruitment and referrals

Recruitment offers must be genuine: asking applicants for money, passwords or personal documents is forbidden. Referral accounts created only to unlock achievements are deleted.

5. Moderation and reports

Anyone can report content via the “Report” link on every page. Reports are reviewed by a human moderator, with no automated decision. If content is hidden or deleted, the owner is told the reason in their dashboard and can appeal by writing to contact@craftrank.fr. They can also use a certified out-of-court dispute settlement body (art. 21 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) or go to court. Users who repeatedly post manifestly illegal content may be suspended.

7. Liability

CraftRank is not responsible for the content, availability or operation of the listed servers, which are run by third parties.

Part 2 — Terms of sale

8. Services offered

Services are sold for a fixed duration (day, week, month…), with no subscription or automatic renewal. A new purchase during a running period extends it.

9. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros including all taxes — VAT not applicable, art. 293 B of the French General Tax Code. The price is payable in full when ordering, in a single payment, by card through our payment provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.), with strong authentication (3-D Secure). Card details are entered directly at Stripe and are never sent to the publisher. No later charge is made. An invoice is emailed after payment.

10. Order

The customer chooses the server, the offer and its duration. Before paying, a summary shows the service, the duration, the exact period and the total price; the customer can then correct or abandon the order. The order is placed by clicking “Order with obligation to pay”, then paying on the Stripe page. It is final once the payment is confirmed.

The service starts as soon as the payment is confirmed. If an offer of the same type is already running for this server, the new period starts at the end of the current one. If the payment was accepted but the service did not start, the customer can report it to contact@craftrank.fr: the publisher activates it or refunds the order.

Promo codes may be offered from time to time. Each code states its discount and, where relevant, the offers concerned, its end date and its maximum number of uses. A code cannot be combined with another one or exchanged for cash. For discounts announced publicly on the site, the reference price is the lowest price charged during the 30 days before the discount (art. L112-1-1 of the French Consumer Code).

11. Right of withdrawal

Consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw. As the service starts immediately after payment, the customer expressly requests immediate performance when ordering and acknowledges losing the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed (art. L221-28 1° of the French Consumer Code). If the customer withdraws before the end of the period, the amount for the remaining time is refunded (art. L221-25). To exercise this right, simply write to contact@craftrank.fr stating the order concerned.

12. Suspension

A server hidden for a serious breach of these terms is not refunded for the running period. A server hidden for any other reason attributable to the publisher is refunded pro rata.

13. Legal guarantees

The customer benefits from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services (art. L224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).

14. Complaints and mediation

Any complaint should be sent to contact@craftrank.fr. If a dispute is not resolved, consumers can use the consumer mediator free of charge: Stripe.

15. Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. Consumers keep the protection of the mandatory rules of their country of residence in the European Union.
