/gamemode change game mode
Switches to Survival, Creative, Adventure or Spectator mode. Operators only: on a server you cannot switch to Creative yourself, except on Creative servers that allow it.

Syntax
/gamemode <survival|creative|adventure|spectator>/gamemode <mode> <player>
<…> = required, […] = optional. The Tab key completes names and arguments.
Examples
/gamemode creative- switches to Creative mode
/gamemode survival Steve- puts Steve back in Survival
/gamemode spectator- switches to Spectator (go through blocks, watch)
💡 In single player, cheats must be allowed when creating the world, or through "Open to LAN".
